The challenge
Edelmann Technology needed a high-performance system for its Chinese facility capable of handling over 330 bobbins/h on a spunbond line, with widths from 60 to 2,600 mm and diameters from 600 to 1,500 mm, complying with the zero-contamination protocol for hygiene-sensitive applications.
The solution
Trascar built a robotised island with dual internal and external labelling, stacking, protective cardboard insertion and handling of 330+ bobbins/h. The solution delivers 40% higher production capacity versus competing systems and is compatible with cutting lines at ~1,800 m/min.
