Molini Pivetti
35-metre high warehouse with 3 dual-depth stacker cranes, 150 pallets/h throughput, oxygen-depletion fire prevention (14.5%) and WMS with real-time pallet tracking.

The challenge
Molini Pivetti, one of Italy's leading flour millers, needed to build a new greenfield automated warehouse capable of storing around 6,000 pallets of flour products at 35 m height, with a fire-prevention system suited to the product's dustiness and a throughput of 150 pallets/h to sustain continuous production.
The solution
Trascar designed and built a 35-m high warehouse with 3 dual-depth stacker cranes, an oxygen-reduction system to 14.5% for fire prevention on dusty product, and a WMS with real-time tracking of every individual pallet. The plant delivers 150 pallets/h throughput and FIFO management for date-sensitive products.
