The challenge
Rotolito, a leading printing and publishing distribution company, needed to automate the storage of pallets weighing up to 1,000 kg from the printing lines, guaranteeing high density within the available space and full integration with the corporate ERP for editorial order management.
The solution
Trascar built a multi-depth storage system with a shuttle satellite featuring an elevator gripper mechanism for heavy pallets. The custom WMS integrates with Rotolito's ERP, managing over 3,000 pallet positions with dynamic slot allocation logic and complete traceability of printed product.
