The challenge
Stacchiotti Srl, a bakery specialising in frozen products, needed an automated storage system operating at −25°C with high hygiene standards in stainless steel, minimising operator exposure to extreme cold and eliminating picking errors.
The solution
Trascar built a shuttle stacker crane with 4 horizontal-sliding wheels, entirely constructed in stainless steel to withstand −25°C, with multi-depth channels, integrated capacitors, dual entry points, dimensional control and automatic weighing. The WMS ensures optimal rotation and full traceability.
