The challenge
Filmar, a leading producer of cotton yarns for luxury fashion brands, needed to manage a high-cadence flow of variable-size and variable-weight cartons, integrating automated storage with production lines while ensuring full product traceability.
The solution
Trascar installed 2 miniloads at 11 m height in dual-depth configuration, a Fanuc robot for automated depalletising and palletising, a telescopic carton loader and 2 manual picking stations. The custom WMS manages 16,000 cartons and coordinates flows between production, storage and dispatch.
