The challenge
Farmacie Comunali Riunite of Reggio Emilia needed to consolidate two separate warehouses into a single pharmaceutical logistics hub capable of handling around 450,000 orders per year, serving 400 pharmacies and 800 healthcare facilities with maximum speed and accuracy in fulfilment.
The solution
Trascar built an 11,000 m² hub with a 2,600-channel Fast Pick system, 12,000 order lines/h, 36 output bays, 2 manual assembly zones, automated box forming, labelling, strapping and sorter. Software is integrated with the FCR management system.
