The challenge
Antonio Capaldo Spa needed to consolidate two separate warehouses into a single high-capacity facility capable of managing 35,000+ product references with 24h delivery, while guaranteeing same-day delivery for Campania region orders placed by 2 PM.
The solution
Trascar built a fully automated warehouse with voice-guided stations, laser-guided picking, compartmentalised cassette systems and automated packing and shipping lines with WMS interfaced with the ERP. Throughput increased 60% to 970 order lines/h with an error rate below 0.005%.
