FERCAM, a logistics operator specialised in fashion, needed to handle seasonal peaks up to 80,000 cartons, distribute orders to over 350 retail locations across Italy across 3 daily shifts, managing previous-season returns simultaneously with new-collection intake.
The solution
Trascar installed 6 miniloads with on-board loaders across 16 levels and 85 m length, divided into 3 zones: goods receipt with optical label verification, picking area with 7 pick-to-light stations and shipping zone with automated closure and labelling. The WMS governs all movements.
