The challenge
Guido Giuso, a producer of pastry and gelato ingredients, needed to manage hundreds of product references with high pallet-composition variability, combining order-fulfilment reliability with the need to integrate 4 production lines into a single automated system.
The solution
Trascar built an automated warehouse with 25 dynamic shelves across 80 m × 14 m height, 2 miniloads with lateral telescopic arms, an anthropomorphic robot for sachet packaging, 11 order-preparation channels and aerial conveyors connecting the 4 production lines. A foam-based fire suppression system completes the installation.
