Overview
Automatic mixed-case palletising builds multi-reference pallets precisely, stably and repeatably, adapting every pallet to the real needs of the point of sale. In retail and grocery it makes it possible to create pallets already ordered by product family, planogram and stability, reducing in-store rework and enabling just-in-time replenishment with ready-to-use pallets. Automation eliminates the typical errors of manual building — wrong sequences, misplaced cases, unstable pallets — because every pallet is calculated, built and verified by the system.
Software plays a central role: the WonderWay WMS governs the case-release sequence, pallet composition by product family and the physical stability of the final pallet, pre-calculating the optimal arrangement and releasing cases in the perfect order. The result is higher throughput without sacrificing accuracy, optimised footprint and a lower cost per case.
